A New Beginning…

On February 11, 2011, in General, by NTD Master

This week marks the beginning of our new website here at Vulture Games.  While the core of our personality and company has stayed true to itself and leveled up substantially, we decided it was about time to give ourselves a much needed face-lift.

Keeping this post on the extremely short side, I’d just like to say…..big things are coming this year.….so bookmark this site, ignore that strange gnome in the corner of your room that keeps staring at you, make yourself a tasty sandwich, and get ready for some epically awesome goodness.

As we’re getting ready to send off our finalized game “The Brain of Bob” this week, we figured it might be nice to start adding some new HD screenshots for your enjoyment.  Throughout the week we’ll be progressively adding more screenshots, and yes, at some point we’ll be tossing a trailer up as well.

Optimization!  That’s pretty much the only word that the Vulture Team is using these days, mainly because that’s what everyone is focused on at the moment.  As we inch closer and closer to being able to release our first game of 2010, the light at the end of the tunnel is slowly coming in sight.  That means that we’re still working on things though, so while everyone’s working to expedite the release, we refuse to give up any quality in doing so…thus, the game is now listed as a tentative end of March/beginning of April release.

The box art for “The Brain of Bob” has been touched up, and this new version is what will be shown on release day later this month (if all goes as planned).  The game is currently being optimized to decrease all loading times as much as possible and increase the overall feel of the game.  This, of course, means that the game is being slightly delayed due to the extensive quality testing process after each and every change.  We’re still aiming to release later this month, but at this time we can’t make any immediate promises.  Thanks everyone for your patience, and don’t worry, we’ll make sure to keep you updated on our status.

There’s been some good news for Vulture Games Studio this week.  While “The Brain of Bob” is still going through some last minute improvements, it’s been officially announced that Vulture Games Studio is now Vulture Games Studio, LLC.  I know all of you out there are thrilled by this and are probably currently thinking, “How will this effect me?”.  As our company grows, so will the quality of the games we can and will produce.  Naturally, that’s a benefit we all can enjoy.
